(Non)Breastfeeding Counseling IBCLC

After extensive further training, I returned to my work from the neonatal unit as a freelance nurse. Because I am so passionate about this field, I pursued the International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification. This involves comprehensive training that is always up-to-date with the latest research and serves as a global standard for quality support in advising (non)breastfeeding parents. To provide this level of support in the long term, ongoing further trainings are essential, which reinforces my belief in the need for empathetic, individualized and evidence-based lactation support for everyone.

Whether you are breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, or both, I provide expert guidance meeting your needs and preferences. If desired, I can prepare you and your support network for infant feeding, newborn care, and the postpartum period already during pregnancy. I will integrate your visions and wishes to enable an informed path into parenthood that feels right for you. I highly recommend addressing these topics during pregnancy, as the feeding and care of the child begins immediately after birth. Furthermore, as a breastfeeding consultant, I am available by phone and will visit you if you have any difficulties or questions. The consultation takes place at your home and lasts 1-2 hours.

Whether breastfeeding or not, it is my passion to accompany families informed, individualized, and supported into the postpartum period and beyond.

All of this complements my work as a doula very well, but can also be used independently.

Price per consultation visit 120 € / 90 € / 40 €
